Timothy J. Brown

EDEN MILLS: Timothy Joseph Brown,67, "Eden Mountain Man" passed away unexpectedly on November 18, 2023, at his home in Eden Mills.

Timmy was known by many names, "Brownie, and "Moss Face" being a few; but his most favorite names were Dad and especially Papa.

Timmy spent his early childhood years, deep in the South Woods on Eden Mountain.  He loved his mountain and was famous for telling people to "get off his mountain, or "out of his woods."  He spent most of his adult life living next to his parents' home in Eden Mills.

Timothy was an avid lover of the woods, and an amazing hunter.  Known for many trophy bucks, he wore many 200lb plus patches proudly.  Timmy spent hours in the woods with his son, Robert, and his nephew Travis, together they knew the woods like the back of their hands. Usually if you saw one you would see them all, either hunting or ice fishing together.

Timmy's grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of his life.  He was always seen at sporting events, school lunches, and activities.  He greatly enjoyed sharing his love of the woods and hunting with them.

When Timmy wasn't in the woods, you would find him in a horse-pulling ring, working a rake.  He loved a good pull, the laughter and beers that were enjoyed. He also enjoyed a good horse auction and trips to Pennsylvania.

Dad was known for his gruff attitude, but those who knew him knew he was the kindest, most caring ole teddy bear there ever was.  He loved a good political argument (GO TRUMP) and was always up for a good laugh and entertained folks on Facebook with his sarcastic comments and posts; but was the first one to lend a hand when someone was in need.

Dad will forever be missed by his three children, Kylie, Kristy (Jeff) and Robert (Wanda).  His grandchildren Meaghan Nolan, Daniah Brown, Macey Brown, Gage Brown, Madisyn Brown, Cash Bador and Malayna Brown. Many beloved nephews, sisters, and cousins.  His great grandchildren, Carson and Sky and two more on the way!

His parents, Robert and Marlene Brown predeceased him.

Timmy will also be greatly missed by his special nephew Travis Earle and family.

Dad is roaming the woods without pain, chasing the elusive white tail deer.
