Terry Lee Rogers

MORRISVILLE: Terry L. Rogers, born October 15, 1971, in Tampa, FL., passed away peacefully at home in Morrisville on September 3, 2026, surrounded by the people she loved most: her children, her mother, and the love of her life, her husband, Travis.

If you knew Terry, you knew there was no one quite like her. She lived her life with a strength that was impossible to miss. She fought through medical challenges for much of her life, including her most recent battle with cancer. She fought hard, just as she always had, but Terry was never defined by her illnesses or her battles. She was defined by the way she loved the way she showed up, the way she could make you laugh when you needed it most, and, of course, by the unmistakable sass that was simply Terry being Terry.

She was never one to sugarcoat how she felt, and sometimes she told you exactly what you probably didn't want to hear—but somehow, you always knew it came from a place of love. Terry was real, honest, and unapologetically herself.

She was the person everyone called. Need to talk about your day? Need advice? Need to complain about your siblings? Need someone to listen without judgment—or perhaps give you a little dose of her honest opinion? Definitely call Terry. She was there.

One of Terry's greatest joys was her family. Her grandchildren, Zoey, Cooper, Cassidy, Dakota, and Nova, held a very special place in Grandma Terry's heart. She loved spoiling them with candy, putting together baskets for every holiday, and making sure they knew just how much they were loved.

Terry's home became a happy place for so many people. It was a place where you could walk through the door and immediately feel at home—a place filled with laughter, stories, teasing, ridiculous conversations, and the kind of memories that don't seem important in the moment but become priceless once you realize you will never have them again.

At the heart of that home was Travis. For more than 20 years, Terry and Travis shared a love that was much more than a marriage. They were best friends. They were partners. They were each other's person. Their love was the kind that made the people around them understand what true love could look like.

Through the good days and the impossibly hard ones, they stood beside each other. Home wasn't really home to Terry without Travis. He was everything to her.

Terry was a mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, friend, listener, protector, and source of laughter. Sometimes a source of frustration, too, but always a source of love. She was truly one of a kind, and her family will miss her more than words can say.

Terry is survived by her husband and best friend, Travis; her children, Danny and his wife, Jess, Charlie, Kristal, Holly, James, Brittney, and Nina; her five grandchildren, Zoey, Cooper, Cassidy, Dakota, and Nova; her mother, Victoria, and her companion, Doug; her sister, Angela; an aunt, nieces and nephews; and her two beloved dogs, Rosco and Ivy.

She was predeceased by her father, Donald, and two siblings, Anita Williams and Donald Robertson.

Terry's wishes were not to have a traditional funeral. Instead, her family will come together to celebrate her life, her laughter, her strength, her love, her sass, and all of the memories she left behind.

A Celebration of Life to Honor Terry will be held from 12 pm to 4 pm on Sunday September 20th, 2026, at the VFW Post 9653 in Morrisville. Family and friends are welcome.
