Tammy L. LaShomb

HARDWICK: Tammy Lyn LaShomb, 49, of Hardwick died peacefully on December 20, 2023, at her residence following an illness.

She was born in Burlington on August 23,1974, the daughter of Scotty M. Lyons and Cindy L. Cameron. She graduated from Lamoille Union High School in Hyde Park, in the class of 1992.

Tammy was employed most of her working years in customer service and house cleaning. For a short time, she sang in different venues throughout the surrounding areas.

She loved the time that she spent with her family, especially with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed, fishing, singing, crocheting, camping, photography, kayaking, and playing corn hole. Tammy was the life of the party with her energy, laughter, and huge smile.

Survivors include: her mother, Cindy Cameron of Hardwick, her father and stepmother, Scotty Lyons, and Cindy Lyons of Marshfield, Four children: Tanika Putnam and wife, Cherokee Putnam of Johnson, Kaelob LaShomb of Berlin, Jakob LaShomb of Hardwick and Kiana LaShomb and companion, Montel Tucker of Berlin; her companion, Scott Moffatt of Hardwick; six grandchildren: Dominik Putnam,  Mae LaShomb, Austin Hemenway, Aubree Tricou, Jakson Patnoe, and Alana LaShomb; siblings: Michael Kelley of Hardwick, Scott Lyons and wife, Rebecca of San Diego, Ca., Billy Lyons and wife, Roselyn of NH., Tonya Guthrie and partner, Shawn of Berlin, Victoria Hill of Stowe, and Crystal LaRose, and companion Arthur LaRose of Montpelier; stepsiblings: Kevin Towne, Tracy Towne, and Tricia White.

Tammy was predeceased by a grandson, Chance Martin, paternal grandmother, Mildred Lyons and her significant other, Justin Leonard.

A celebration of life will be held later with a date and time to be announced.
