Shannon B. Williams

HARDWICK: Shannon Bernice Williams, 49, died Saturday January 25th, 2025, at her home in Hardwick.

She was born March 19th, 1975, in Morrisville; the daughter of the late Harold and Lois (Davison) Williams. She attended Hardwick public schools and graduated from Hazen Union High School.

In her earlier years, she stayed at home to care for her young family. Shannon was later employed by the Vermont Agency on Aging, and Bombardiers in Barre.

As a young child, she attended the United Church of Hardwick and Sunday School. She enjoyed camping, family events, outings at Nichols Pond, cooking and watching cooking shows on television. Shannon loved parties. She will be remembered as a comedian and the life of the party .

Shannon loved her dogs Roxy, Lady and Shay. She also had special nieces who often made their home with her, Maranda Mead, Kate Shatney and Abigail Bromley. During the summer months, Shannon and her sister, Sherrie  often took the children to Dog Pond for an evening of swimming.

Survivors include her longtime partner David McCullough, of Hardwick; children, Jacob Williams and Hezekiah Morrison, both of Hardwick, Meosha Avery and her partner, Nathan Shepard of Newport, Deja Shelby of Morgan and Elizabeth Avery of North Carolina; two siblings, Kelly & Jackie Davison of Hardwick and Sherrie Williams & James Bromley of Irasburg; two grandchildren Ramona Shepard and Anora Williams, four extended grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister Stacey Williams.

All Services will be private at the convenience of her family.
