Richard L. Semptimphelter

Westfield, VT.:   Richard Louis Semptimphelter, 74, of Westfield, died Sunday, April 18, 2021 at UVM Medical Center in Burlington.

He was born June 2, 1946, in Florence, NJ, to Louis Semptimphelter and Norma Barry. Rich spent most of his years living in NY, moving to Vermont in the late 1990's. He was a computer programmer for IBM in both NY and later in Burlington, VT.

Rich is survived by his son, Rich Semptimphelter (Dorian) of Watertown, NY; daughter, Chrissy Catapano (husband Ed, children Logan and Morgan) Catapano of Stormville, NY, and grandson Jackson Farnham of Hyde Park, VT. His daughter Katie Semptimphelter recently passed on March 17, 2021 in Morrisville, VT.

Rich enjoyed time with nature and his dogs, perhaps more so than time with people. He enjoyed his peace and quiet, but was happy to see his family when he did.
