Patricia D. Bixby

MORRISVILLE: Patricia Delaire Bixby of Morrisville passed away on November 5th, 2023, she was 95 years old. We will honor her life on February 17, 2024, at 12 Noon at The Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 301 Brooklyn Street, Morrisville, VT. 05661

ALL ARE INVITED TO A RECEPTION AT THE MSGR. CROSBY CENTER. DIRECTLY FOLLOWING THE FUNERAL MASS  1-3 PM.

Patricia Bixby was a true Vermonter. She was the type of person who would always bake a cake for you on your birthday or make you soup when you were sick. She loved to laugh, and her laugh was contagious. Her energy and zest for life filled our hearts with hope. She was a culinary genius who shared all her best recipes. She would win nearly every game you played with her. We Cherish many fond memories of having a seat at Patricia's table.

Patricia and her husband Donald traveled the world. They were active in square dancing communities in California and Hawaii. Pat, as most of her friends call her, was a grateful person. She was admirably purposeful in her endeavors with the Catholic Church and helping people in need. She donated her time, treasure, and talent to multiple charities.

She rarely complained, she was always there to listen. She always looked you in the eye and made you feel seen. She will be missed. May her legacy of kindness live on.

Pat is survived by her loving family that includes, Patricia and Robert Hammond, David and Rachel Bixby, and Donald E." Todd" Bixby III; grandchildren, Jack and Trisha Newalu, Ryan and Deanna Murphy, Sara Bixby, David Tyler and Kate Bixby, and Madeline Bixby; as well as great grandchildren Noah, Mason, Brielle Murphy, Daniel Cohen, and Margot Bixby.

Burial will be in the Veterans Cemetery in Randolph on February 20th, 2024, at 9 AM.
