Monique C. Marcoux

HYDE PARK: Monique Claire Marcoux, 93 of Hyde Park, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 18, 1933, in Canada; the daughter of the late Joseph and Blanche (Chicoine) Bourdeau. She attended school and college in Canada.

On June 14,1952, she married Rene' Albert Marcoux at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Hyde Park. Following her marriage, she stayed at home to care for her young family. At the same time, she cared for the young children of other family members. In the late 1960s she was very proud to  become a U.S. Citizen.

Monique was a member of Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Morrisville. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, walking, cooking for her family and playing cards.

Survivors include her children: Denise Marcoux, Diane  Marcoux ((Larry) LaClair all of Hyde Park, Pierre (Lenore) Marcoux of Essex, Jct.,  Francine (Steve) Ramsey of North Ferrisburgh, Gisele( Andy) Kloeckner of Shelburne and Lisa (Tim) Kent of Brunswick, Maine; siblings: Bernard Boudreau of St. Jean, Quebec, and Cecile Marcoux of Texas; grandchildren Jeremy Marcoux (partner Amie Ready), Kimberly Marcoux (partner Mike Reilly), Connor LaClair (Samantha Fontaine), Eleanor White (John), Megan Kloeckner ( fiancé Marcello Godcharles), Allison Kloeckner, Serena & Livia Kent; ; great grandchildren: Carter & Brooke Marcoux, Kaylen Marcoux, Ford & Luke Reilly, Raema Pebley, and Emyn LaClair; her second family, Roger Jr,. Claude, and Francois (the "boys") and Mimi Marcoux.

She was predeceased by three of her siblings, George Boudreau, Jean Paul Boudreau and Lorraine Audet; as well as her grandchildren Shawn Marcoux, Mitchell Ramsey and Worthy, Caroline and Nathaniel Kent.

Visiting hours will be held from 3-5PM, on Monday, March 9th, at Holy Cross Church in Morrisville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. on Tuesday, March 10th,2026, at Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish (Holy Cross Catholic Church) in Morrisville with Father Paul, celebrant.

Burial will be later in the spring at St. Teresa's Cemetery in Hyde Park.
