North Wolcott VT- Megan Lynn Draper, 41, of North Wolcott died peacefully at
home Saturday, May 3, 2025, with her loving family at her side.
Megan was born January 22, 1984, at Copley Hospital in Morrisville, daughter
to Todd and Michele (Walker) Draper. Megan graduated from Lamoille Union
High in 2002 where she made lifelong friends.
Megan was employed by various local businesses until she found a passion
for cooking. Cooking wasn't just an occupation; it was an art that she
mastered.
She loved the time that she spent with her children and her family. Megan
always had a caring heart and wanted to nurture the people she loved.
Megan was kind, beautiful, funny, and artistic. She loved being outside,
paddle boarding, hiking, camping, swimming, star gazing and loved sharing
memories with the people she loved.
Megan loved being out and about with her close friends that meant the world
to her. Donna, Lindsey, Alicia, Nikki, and her boyfriend Mike. (Just to name a
few)
Megan loved spending every chance she had with her children. They would
spend their time going for hikes to the water or spending the day doing arts
and crafts. She loved playing board games or learning a new card game.
Megan loved listening to music and had a dance party anywhere she was at,
I'm sure she's dancing away!
Survivors include her two children, Richard and Amaya Gallup, and her kids
father Richard Gallup Sr. of Winooski; her mother Michele Tallman and
stepfather Dorick Tallman of North Wolcott; her maternal grandparents David
and Linda Walker of Stowe; brother Joel Draper of Franklin; sisters Leanna
Thomas of Wolcott, and Mariah Draper of St Albans; stepsister Harlie Tallman
and stepbrother William Tallman, both of Wolcott; many nieces and nephews
who she loved a lot, aunts and uncles and many cousins.
She was predeceased by her father, Todd Allen Draper and grandmother
Peggy Myott.
A BBQ Celebration of Life will be held at a later convenience of her family.
