Maddison M. Hayden:

WOODBURY: With profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Maddison M. Hayden, 22, of Woodbury, Vermont, on June 25, 2026.

Born June 10, 2004, Maddison had a smile that could brighten any room. Her outgoing personality, adventurous spirit, and kindness drew people to her wherever she went. She embraced life with enthusiasm, making the most of every opportunity and truly enjoyed her twenties. She was deeply loved by her family, and friends; and she loved them just as deeply in return.

Family and friends were at the center of Maddison's life.  She cherished every opportunity to spend time with the people she loved, whether it was family outings, adventures, sharing laughs, or simply making memories together. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, often sharing her creations with those around her. Being a big sister was one of Maddison's greatest joys. She loved her brothers and sisters fiercely, and they looked up to her with admiration, love and pride.

Music was one of Maddison's greatest passions. She loved attending concerts and making memories through live music. Some of her most treasured moments were spent with her cousin Curtis, who held a special place in her heart. Together they shared countless concerts, laughter, and unforgettable experiences.

One of Maddison's greatest joys was her beloved dog, Nova. The two were inseparable, and whenever she could, she made sure Nova was right by her side on every adventure.

A 2022 graduate of Hazen Union School in Hardwick, Maddison dedicated herself to caring for others through her work at Greensboro Nursing Home. She truly enjoyed caring for the residents and had a genuine compassion for each of them. Her kindness, patience, and caring heart touched the lives of the residents, their families. and her coworkers alike.

Maddison is lovingly survived by her father, Kainen Hayden of Hardwick, and her mother, Ashley Hill of Colchester; Kainen's significant other, Angela Limoges; Ashley's  significant other, Chris Fradette; her maternal great-grandmothers, Nancy Hill of East Hardwick and Bernice McCarty of Lyndonville; maternal grandfather, Clay Hill of East Hardwick; paternal Nany & Papa, Steve and Nancy Limoges of Milton;  her siblings, Emma, Tristan, Chase, and Parker; her bonus parents, Casey and Nathan Hayden, as she lovingly called them; her bonus siblings, Nathan and Kenzie; her beloved dog, Nova, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, William "Bill" Hill; grandmother's, Pattie McCarty and Heidi Hayden.

Though Maddison's life was far too short, the love she shared and the memories she created will live on forever. She will be remembered for her radiant smile, adventurous spirit, compassionate heart, unwavering love for her family and friends, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved her.

Visiting hours will be held from 6-8 Pm., on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Northern Vermont Funeral Service, 60 Elm Street, Hardwick

Graveside Services will be held at 11 AM, on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in the Fairview Cemetery in Hardwick, with Rev. Ernest Machia officiating.

A Celebration of Life will immediately follow the graveside service at the American Legion Post # 7, Hardwick, Vt.
