DAVID J. WEEKS

MORRISVILLE: The heavens gained another angel as the world lost a beautiful soul. On February 14, 2026, David James Weeks was called home to God. Following years of pain, suffering, and illness he endured most days in silence. He is at peace.

David "Uncle Dave" to many was born November 12, 1949 to Henry and R. Blanche Weeks. Throughout his life he was a man of many talents. He enjoyed anything involving the outdoors. Hunting and fishing were  at the top of the list, but scrapping was his biggest passion.  If someone didn't know him by his name, then they knew him by his truck always overflowing with scrap metal, as he drove around looking for more to add to his pile.

David's first love Debbie blessed him with two daughters, Tina and Tonya, who survive him. His second love Josephine, who predeceased him blessed him with several bonus kids, Dawn Houston, and her significant other David Lathe, Sr of Eden, Gina Houston of Morrisville, David Houston of Hyde Park and Bobbie Foster and her husband Jay Foster, of Walden, also survive him.

David had several  siblings. He was predeceased by Henry, Betty and Leona. He is survived by Sheryl, Edward and Roger, a close cousin Mike Phillips, and his wife Barbie and their boys Jeremiah, Shawn and Shane. Dave thought the world of the Phillips family. He always spoke so highly of them and some of Dave's fondest memories include them.

David also leaves close friends who he considered family. Steve and Robin Prosser of Eden and their children Jason, Eden, and Bonnie. Mike and "The boys" Riley and Shane as well as "The Girls" Heather, Christy and Madison. He was a great man who was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

No services are planned at this time.

The Weeks family would like to  thank Sherri at the Sunset Motel for all she did for David.
