Growing up in Stannard, Dana spent his young years in the company of his brother, many cousins and friends, riding bikes, fishing, snowmobiling, playing baseball, enjoying Cub Scout projects and flourishing in a world of family and friends. He attended schools in Hardwick and later worked in the family business of clearing power lines.  After becoming disabled, he became more interested in music and art.  He learned to play the guitar and often "jammed" with friends,  His amazing artwork was often used as a pattern for friends' tattoos.  Dana was a conversationalist and debater whose sharp mind and memory served him well in arguing a point and always made conversations interesting.

Dana leaves two sons, Skylar, of Hardwick, and Randy, of New Braunfels, TX; his father, Bernard Molleur and mother and step-father, Paulette Brochu-Colburn and David Colburn of Hardwick.  He, also, leaves a brother, Tony Molleur and wife, Rossie, of Hardwick; a niece, Britney Molleur and partner, Shauna Driver, of Morrisville; a nephew, Travis Molleur and partner, Victoria Howard, and great niece, Sophia, of Hardwick. He will also be missed by two step-children, special to him, Justin and Misty.  Dana was part of large extended families, leaving many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He had many special friends, too numerous to name, who will miss visiting with him and having him visit them,  And we have to talk about the loving relationship he had with his furry friends; his BFF, Max, his loyal Lhasa Apso and the 2 crazy cats.

Graveside Services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at St. Michaels Cemetery in Greensboro Bend. A Time of Remembrance and Sharing will follow at, 972 West Hill Road, in Hardwick. Please join us and plan to wear a mask for the health & wellbeing of everyone attending.

Dana's family would especially like to thank the incredible staff at UVM Medical Center, Miller 5 Palliative Care Unit for making his last days comfortable and safe,  He was truey in the best place he could possibly have been.
