Ason G. Adams

Morrisville: Ason Grimstead Adams, 79, of Morrisville died suddenly on May 27, 2025, at Copley Hospital in Morrisville.

He was born March 4, 1946, in Burlington; the son of the late Rolf and Ruth (Smith) Adams. He graduated from Lamoille Central Academy in Hyde Park in the class of 1964. Following his education, he was employed at the Vermont State Hospital in Waterbury, where he remained all his working years. He retired in 2008.

On December 15, 1971, Ason married Brenda Alice Stoddard in Morrisville. Together they raised four sons.

He enjoyed cars, hiking in the woods of Vermont, traveling, long rides along country roads and sports, especially soccer.

Survivors include: his wife, Brenda Adams of Morrisville; four sons: Collier Adams of Wolcott, Percy Adams of Craftsbury, Brock Adams of Newport and Elliott Adams of Morrisville; a grandson, Brody Adams of Newport; and a sister Mary Ann Hanson of St. Petersburg, FL.

He was predeceased by his sister, Avis A. Davis.

To honor his request, all gatherings will be private at the convenience of his family.
